One Dead, One Hurt in Lackawanna County, PA, House Explosion

Jefferson Township firefighters found the seriously injured man in the rubble.

Authorities are investigating the cause of a house explosion that left a woman dead and a man with serious injuries.

Diane Grussm 75, was killed while another ocupant sustained life-threatening injuries, according to WNEP. .

"You never have enough people. It takes one to two guys pulling the hose line. You need another guy pumping the truck. You have a guy trapped in the house that you got to get out," said Jefferson Township Assistant Chief Jason Crambo.

Fire crews found the injured man and he was flown to a trauma center.
